Rajesh over are Squidoo created a very good checklist for getting started with your Blog. As I am just getting started, I found this list very helpful. You can find it at the following url:

Starting with your blog is not a simple thing. There are many things to learn - such as:
- Which service to go with (blogger, typepad, etc...)
- How to publish your blog (rss feeds? feedster? ice rocket? etc?)
- How often you should add posts.
- Managing stats.
- etc...
In two days, I have learned in a bit. I figure there is still much to learn.
